the Couples

See what past couples have to say

We loved working with Talia and could not have been happier with what she created for us. From our first phone call where she really listened to our styles and understood who we are as a couple, to graciously incorporating our feedback along the way, the process was seamless. We had a lot of ideas for her to weave together, and we wanted our ketubah to represent both of our cultures and she created the perfect piece!

It’s all in the fine details and that’s exactly what we wanted for our wedding! I love that the design was based off of my bridal bouquet. Every time I look at it, it brings back chuppah memories and I just love it.

In the months leading up to our wedding, I spent hours and hours scouring the internet for the perfect Ketubah. I struggled to find a piece that was modern and meaningful to us as a couple, but also one that still maintained the traditional elements of Judaism that we were looking for. Luckily enough, I stumbled upon The Ketubist on Instagram and reached out immediately! My husband and I worked with Talia to design the perfect Ketubah. Talia was wonderful to work with - we went back and forth on colors, designs, and text until everything was just right. She was also extremely communicative and professional. Our beautiful piece arrived perfectly packaged with plenty of time to spare before our wedding day. I would recommend Talia and The Ketubist to any modern Jewish couple searching for a truly customized piece and impeccable service.

Planning a wedding during Covid times was both challenging and painful. There was so much we didn’t have control over, so we worked really hard to shift our efforts on what we could make happen during a global pandemic. One of the things that was so important to us was creating our ketubah with an artist. We wanted to have a document that we would be excited to hang in our home and something that would reflect so much of our story into the piece. Working with The Ketubist was a dream come true. From our first exchange to the questionnaire to the follow-up conversations, Talia was able to design a piece that captured things of value and meaning to us. Our witnesses signed our ketubah in our dining room - a perfect place for a Covid-tish - and it was then read under our chuppah in the backyard of our home. Today it is hung in our family room and it will forever bring us joy. We can’t thank Talia enough for both her creativity and talent.
